Evenbreak is a social enterprise run by and for disabled people. Currently, disabled people are twice as likely to be unemployed as non-disabled people. This creates both disproportionate poverty and a woeful waste of valuable talent.

Our vision is for the world of work to be completely inclusive and accessible, such that disabled people have the same opportunities to contribute their skills and thrive at work as non-disabled people. Our services include:

Specialist Online Job Board:

Research shows that one of the biggest barriers for disabled people seeking work is not knowing which employers are disability-friendly. Inclusive employers can attract disabled candidates, and those candidates can find work opportunities with employers who will value their skills, through our specialist online job board - the most accessible job board in the UK. Candidates have the confidence to apply to companies who have paid to advertise their vacancies on a job board specifically aimed at disabled candidates.

Best Practice Portal:

We help employers become more inclusive and accessible through an online best practice portal. This is a knowledge management tool available to all employees within subscribing organisations, with hundreds of practical resources - short videos or one-page documents - on a comprehensive range of subjects around inclusive recruitment and employment practices. Some of the resources have been curated, but most have been created by us, involving disabled people and organisations who are excelling in this space.

Training and consultancy:

We offer employers training (external events or in-house) and consultancy, delivered by experienced disabled consultants, in inclusive and accessible recruitment practices.

Sharing best practice:

We share best practice through speaking at our own and other events, writing articles and blogs, using social media and our books, 'A Dozen Brilliant Reasons to Employ Disabled People' and 'A Dozen Great Ways to Recruit Disabled People'
